Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci met in Florence lorence at the university faculty of architecture and began their collaboration since they were students. In 1983 they opened the industrial planning and architecture studio, Archirivolto Design. The studio has collaborated with renowned international brands as Alice Ceramica, ALIVAR, Bonaldo, Bontempi, Brunner, Calligaris, Cattelan Italia, CorteZari, FERMOB, JORI, Ligne Roset, Midj, Quinti Sedute and so on.
For Archirivolto, design is beauty, harmony and freedom; it cannot be confined with existing rules nor be the privilege of a cultural or social elite. Technology does not exist to create an image, but to give service to the consumer: to possess real quality, a good `designer' product must therefore be attractive, useful and comfortable.
